This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
- What you give us. Your name, email address and any details you share when you enrol, book your kickoff time, or email us.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your book material. Anything you share with us during the program — drafts, interviews, notes — belongs to you.
- Basic site analytics. Pages visited and the source that referred you, so we know which efforts are worth repeating.
How we use it
To deliver the program, schedule and confirm your sessions, send you what you paid for, respond when you contact us, and meet our accounting obligations. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone who is not directly helping us deliver the program.
Your manuscript
Your story is yours. We do not publish, excerpt, quote or reuse your manuscript or interview material for marketing without your explicit written permission, and permission for one use is not permission for another.
Service providers
We use third parties to run the business: Stripe for payments, a scheduling service for bookings, and email and hosting providers. Each handles data under its own policy and only for the purpose we engaged it for.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email customerservice@writemystorytoday.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests are honoured except where we are required to retain records for tax or legal reasons.
Children
This program is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will post the update here and note the date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
