What actually happens, and when.
A deadline you cannot see is not a deadline. This is the whole map.
- Days 1–3The interview. You talk, I record and structure. Most authors discover the book already existed and was waiting for permission.
- Days 4–6The outline is built and locked. Every chapter gets a job before you write a word of it. Once it is locked, we stop rearranging.
- Day 7Live session one. We write together, on camera, in the room. The daily word target is set here.
- Days 8–20You draft against the outline. Chapters come to me as you finish them and go back with notes — not a rubber stamp, actual margin notes.
- Day 21Live session two. The hard chapter. Usually the one you have been avoiding, which is usually the one the book needs.
- Days 22–27Production runs in parallel. Cover designed, ISBN registered, barcode generated while you finish the draft.
- Days 28–30Formatting and handoff. Title page, copyright page, chapter breaks, running heads. You end with a file Kindle accepts.
